Back Stage Indie Report asks ELECTRIC GORDON…
Indie music in brazil – We are an indie rock from Rio de Janeiro/Brazil, releasing our first single now on July 10th. The band was formed in 2013, but the project was reloaded in 2015 to produce and record an album, that will be released on October 10th. We have influences of 90’s indie, grunge, and alternative rock. Our album was entirely produced and performed by Denis Netto, lead singer, and guitarist, and we’re now preparing to start performing by September.

A LOOK AT ANTELOPE AUDIO’S ORION 32+ BY 4X LATIN GRAMMY WINNING PRODUCER “ECHO” ” …with the Antelope Orion 32+ AD/DA Converter, I can have nothing in-between the music and beautiful, authentic sonic clarity.” – Echo see bio below Having just moved to a new home this year, my thoughts immediately turned to the construction of my home project studio. I have used every major Miami studio facility, as well as national and international state-of-the-art facilities for producing artists. This including Mor Play Studios in the famous Wynwood arts district area of Miami where I am a partner. At Mor Play Studios we use the Antelope Audio’s Orion as the I/0 for the SSL XL desk. However, I needed to keep the projects at that high level of the major recording studios that my artists and the labels demand. Having a structure on my property that was ideal for this build, I retained some top stud
SOMETHING DIFFERENT… THE FOCAL SHAPE 65 STUDIO REFERENCE MONITOR REVIEW! In a world brimming with studio reference monitor companies, it can be difficult to separate true innovation from marketing gimmicks without really digging in deep. Digging deep is what we at Back Stage Indie Report wanted to do because the Shape 65 by Focal has a plethora of new and different approaches to the audio loud speaker. It all started when I asked several producers and engineers that I know through Back Stage Indie Report, what studio monitors I should look at for our studios? Though our 15-year-old Mackie 824’s had served us well, it was time to upgrade to newer technologies. I was surprised and heartened by how many responses came back with the same brand, “Focal”. Ok… sooo there was a bit of consensus. But, was this just the latest hype product? You know how these things take off with the force of zeitgeist alone. …Fast forward 3 months.. . I was at the AES show in New York
