We at BSIR are loving the smokey, sexy voice of April George. This 2 piece composed of singer-songwriter, violinist, and pianist April George, joined by producer and composer Matthew Thompson, April + VISTA is an American duo that is quietly making some of the coolest Jazzy Experimental tracks to be found.

The music is a blend of experimental, jazz and psychedelic rock.” What is your story?  “ The band was formed in 2015 by bassist and composer Antonio Pereira. Shortly after composing short ideas and having a rough idea of what the band should sound like, he recruited long time friend and former bandmate Jorge Fernandez to play guitar and help compose. Jorge’s jazz chops blended with Antonio’s psychedelic bass tones created the foundation of the bands sound. About three months later drummer Francisco Lujan joined the group. His progressive drumming style added another voice to the group, giving the compositions a strong backbone.
